Wapping Wharf phase 1

by Alec French Architects for Umberslade and Muse Developments

Wapping Wharf Phase I is a mixed-use scheme comprising 194 apartments for sale and for rent including 24 affordable units and 10 retail units, creating a new street connecting Cumberland Road to Museum Street called Gaol Ferry Steps. This is the first phase of a masterplan on the 4 hectare brownfield site comprising over 600 apartments, offices, hotel and retail space. The north and south facing apartments take advantage of spectacular views to the New Cut and Floating Harbour, all having balconies or terraces. The residential entrance facing Gaol Ferry Steps features cantilevered winter gardens. Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 was achieved.
